product Description
High Contrast Class
The new Herolab High Contrast Transilluminators are state-of-the-art gel visualization UV tables and let the DNS gels appear in a new light. The particular homogeneous illumination of the entire filter surface and the simultaneously improved contrast characteristics set new benchmarks. Their highly uniform excitation source makes even weak bands in ethidium bromide stained gels as well as in SYBR™ stained gels clearly visible.
- Contrast reinforcement by improved filter characteristics
- Homogeneous illuminated filter glass surface
- Result improvement at all Flourophors, for example SYBR TM staining materials and Etidiumbromid
- Intensity switch 100 % «» 75 % (not for model UVT-14/22)
- Removable adjustable UV protection shield (for Economy models available against surcharge)
Herolab LongLife® Electronics:
- low heat generation, quick start without flickering, long service life
- Stainless steel filter frame, powder-coated housing, counter-sunk switches
- Special reflectors made of refined aluminum for even illumination of samples with effective use of the high UV intensity of the tubes
- To be used as a white light table in combination with the RadiCon® converter plate or as blue light table with RadiCon® BLUE converter plate
