RobotCen – Automated Centrifuges
RobotCen centrifuges integrate into automated laboratory workflows. Rotor positioning and communication are matched to the existing robot platform.
Scope of supply: HEROLAB supplies the centrifuge. Robot arms are not part of our product range and are provided by the customer or system integrator.
Rotor Positioning and Workflow
- The controller positions the rotor for sample handling. Vessel holders, gripping points and robot access are coordinated.
- Loading and unloading are coordinated with the centrifugation cycle. The scope of automation depends on the complete system.
Technical Configuration and Selection

| Adapters and closures | Selected to fit the chosen rotor, vessel dimensions, closures and gripper clearance. The suitable combination and scope of supply are confirmed in the quotation. |
| Cooling / operation | A refrigerated version is available. Temperature range, permissible speed and RCF depend on the centrifuge and rotor. |
| Interface | RS232/RS485 according to the agreed version. Protocol, commands and status signals are confirmed for the project. |
