SmartCen – Connected Centrifuges
SmartCen combines the SmartCen software system with the hardware required for the selected Herolab centrifuge. When chosen by the customer, the complete configuration is integrated during production. The delivered centrifuge carries the SmartCen designation together with its specific model designation.
One operational overview
SmartCen connects distributed centrifuge operations through a shared system layer. It helps laboratories supervise available machine status and run information and use approved operating functions from authorized terminals.

Configured for the selected centrifuge and project
All current orderable MicroCen, UniCen and HiCen models can be supplied either in the standard factory configuration or with the factory-integrated SmartCen software and hardware. The exact option code, functions, access rights, interfaces, network requirements and documentation scope are confirmed in the Herolab quotation.
Important: SmartCen must be selected when the new centrifuge is ordered. It is not available as a retrofit for installed equipment.
