Customer Visit – Improving Together
Recently, we conducted a customer visit at a long-standing partner near Heidelberg, specializing in the production of blood group reagents. Since purchasing a HEROLAB HiCen GR centrifuge in 2016, the company has been using the device intensively on a daily basis. The centrifuge continues to impress with its excellent performance and impeccable condition to this day.
HEROLAB supports the customer annually with regular maintenance and technical inspections carried out by our after-sales service. During our visit, the customer reported:

HEROLAB supports science education: Discovering the magic of UV light!
HEROLAB recently successfully cooperated with the Armin-Knab-Gymnasium in Germany and hosted an exciting scientific event that attracted many students and visitors.
At a total of 30 research stations, HEROLAB UV lamps were the centerpiece of the mineral display.
A particularly noteworthy specimen was a rare triangle calcite mineral from China. Under the professional shortwave UV lighting from HEROLAB, the rare earth elements embedded in the crystal appeared as glowing triangular patterns, captivating everyone present.
We are pleased that HEROLAB UV lamps are not only valued in research but also have a significant impact in science education and public outreach.

HEROLAB RobotCen Centrifuge Recognized in ACS Nano for Supporting Automated Laboratories
We are thrilled to see the HEROLAB RobotCen centrifuge featured in the latest ACS Nano publication “A Self-Driving Lab for Nano- and Advanced Materials Synthesis” by the research team at Germany’s Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM).
In this study, the researchers built a fully automated Self-Driving Lab (SDL) for the synthesis, purification, and in-line characterization of nano- and advanced materials. The HEROLAB RobotCen temperature-controlled centrifuge played a key role in the efficient separation of nanomaterials, ensuring high precision and reproducibility within the automated workflow.

Analytica 2024 trade fair in Munich
The atmosphere was brilliant not only in the exhibition halls but also at our booth, with interesting conversations and knowledge exchange with our end customers marking analytica 2024.
We also met our business partners from near and far, from Sweden to South Africa, from Chile to China. It was great conversations that further strengthened our collaboration.

Barbecue party at the end of April 2024
A sunny Friday afternoon at the end of April provided the perfect opportunity for a joyful barbecue at Herolab. Spring showed its best side, with pleasant temperatures and a bright blue sky. The first flowers were already blooming in the flowerbeds in front of the office building.
And so, the employees were delighted to end the workweek in a relaxed atmosphere, engaging in casual conversations, having fun, and celebrating the start of the weekend together.
All in all, it was a successful start to the weekend that will be fondly remembered by everyone involved for a long time.
