UniCen MR – refrigerated universal benchtop centrifuge

The UniCen MR is designed for laboratory applications requiring different vessels and rotors, high speeds and controlled refrigeration. The appropriate configuration is defined according to the sample, vessel, volume, required RCF or speed, temperature and process workflow.

Technical data

  • Maximum capacity: 4 × 200 ml or 6 × 100 ml, depending on the rotor
  • Speed range: 500–24,000 rpm, adjustable in increments of 100 rpm
  • Maximum RCF: up to 45,080 × g, depending on the rotor
  • Drive: brushless induction drive
  • Centrifuge chamber: stainless-steel chamber with additional protective reinforcement
  • Safety functions: overspeed protection, imbalance detection and motorised lid locking
  • Rotors: fixed-angle, swing-out and microhaematocrit rotors according to the selected configuration

Optional customer-specific control configuration

On request, the UniCen MR can be offered with a 7-inch touchscreen and a separate STANDBY button as a project-specific configuration. This control configuration is not part of the standard configuration. Availability, functions, technical implementation and documentation are defined during technical clarification and confirmed in the respective quotation.
