Versions and selection
Wide-neck bottles are made of polypropylene copolymer (PPCO). The 70-mm opening facilitates sample retrieval and cleaning. Select the bottle, closure, rotor and any adapter as a matching combination.

Closures for swing-out rotors are not intended for the high speeds of fixed-angle versions. Tested speed and RCF values apply only to the combination listed in the catalogue, not to every rotor.
Closures and seals
The illustration shows different closure systems with O-rings, including an inside view of the natural-coloured closure. Closures are not freely interchangeable: the catalogue number and approved bottle–rotor combination determine the selection.
Cleaning and reuse
For PPCO, the catalogue specifies steam sterilisation for 20 minutes at 121 °C and 103 kPa. Remove closures before autoclaving; closures and seals are subject to their own material requirements. Repeated autoclaving can reduce load-bearing capacity. Do not reuse damaged or deformed vessels.
